DIGITAL MARKETING – A MYTH OR A CERTAIN FACT?

Are you considering taking a digital marketing class? Today, we’ll discuss the top five myths. Which you normally consider before enrolling in a digital marketing course, but which you do not get.

The first is that digital marketing is extremely lucrative.

We have a chance to become millionaires. You can make money in any market, but you must put in a lot of effort. You can make money from digital marketing or any other company if you put in the effort.

Digital marketing is a form of advertising.

If you are familiar with marketing or have a desire to learn more about it, or if ou want to pursue a career in marketing then only you should do so; otherwise, you should do something else.

Don’t just look for a fast buck. All will be sorted automatically if you enjoy your work.

The second fallacy is that if I take a 3 or 5-months digital marketing course, I would be a king who knows everything there is to know about digital marketing.

Let’s discuss a few points. If you’re a member or not, Modules are normally checked by people.

People claim there are 35, 40, or 50 modules, but each instructor has a unique skill set and has expertise in specific areas where he excels. It is not appropriate for everybody to be an expert in all areas. If he’s a good teacher, he’ll pass on everything he knows to you. But you must still put in effort in order to understand the things that you must learn. It shouldn’t be the case that you learned something in class and just went home and slept.

Rather than learning theoretically, you must practice digital marketing over and over again to master it.

Let’s take a look at my situation. If we are learning about SEO & suppose I taught about SEO in my class and covered every aspect of it. However, nothing will happen unless you try it yourself on your website and blogs, or on your videos, because practice is important and the only thing that will help you develop. It’s the only distinction.

If I’m talking about a digital marketing course, I’m talking about: If 100 students enroll, only 70-80 will be pleased with the course, while the remaining 20% will be dissatisfied.

What is the reason for this?

Since they aren’t willing to put in the effort. They would be happy if they work hard.

For example, there were ten students in a class, and eight of them received good grades. However, two of them did not. What is the reason for this?

They must have made a mistake somewhere along the way. They must be in short supply, which is why they haven’t been able to get there. Digital marketing isn’t like magic; it won’t just appear in your body. You must make consistent attempts to master the skills.

The following myth is the greatest of all time.

Should you do digital marketing if you don’t know how to code or don’t have an interest in coding? Digital marketing and coding have nothing to do with each other. Instead of coding to create websites or applications, my job as a digital marketer is to market them. But, yes, I should have a basic understanding of coding.

Because if I do SEO or have to enter code under the head, I should be aware that this is the only coding foundation you should be aware of. We don’t need to be coders because our job as marketers is to sell the products. As a result, coding isn’t needed.

Some students say that they are from the art or commerce fields and have no experience with coding. Some also say that I am a coding expert, so can I do digital marketing? As a result, there is no connection between coding and digital marketing. You must be familiar with marketing, or your mind would be shaped like that of a traditional marketer.

You should think like a jugadu. Some companies and institutions provide internship opportunities to the students, but the only requirement is that you know how to improvise.

So, when they first start, they typically do some form of testing to see who has the most jugaad potential. Since you need to know about jugaad to advance in life.

The next point to consider is “scope.”

Many people call me and ask, “What is the scope of digital marketing?” Never chase scope because there are thousands of job options. Why don’t you go into politics because there’s so much potential there? We should go into a profession where we can have fun. The scope will expand on its own.

While I acknowledge that there is a prediction that more scope will be available in the future, many people believe that a video editor cannot find a good job nowadays. I’m still searching for a good video editor, but I haven’t been able to find one. So, what isn’t available on the market?

Does this mean that teachers aren’t doing a good job of teaching?

How is it done? Some students from major institutes get big placements, while others don’t understand a single thing they’ve been taught. Some people enter internships to learn something new in addition to the course, and anyone who does not learn something new outside of the course modules will be thrown out.

The biggest and final fallacy is that digital marketing is a quick way to get rich.

I’ll say it again: you can become wealthy in any area. However, you must devote a significant amount of time and effort to digital marketing. Many people claimed to be digital marketing professionals after completing their 3- to 4-month course. You’ve just read about it so far; now it’s time to put it all into practice, which will take time. Working for at least 1-2 years as a professional digital marketer is needed.

The second choice is that you will be given an opportunity to do all of the tasks at once, allowing you to learn quickly. But, keep in mind that all of these activities will take time and your hard work. If you work hard, you will become wealthy; if you do not work hard, you will never be able to advance in life. So, if you want to advance in life, always work hard in the right direction.

Let’s take a look at another bonus point.

Some people are unsure if they should take an online or offline course.

Some argue that we can learn faster in an online course because we can learn at our own pace, while others argue that an offline course is better because we will be able to communicate with the instructor. So, in my opinion, some modules could be taught offline while others should be taught online.

What happens is that in the offline course, you will be able to communicate directly with the instructor. You will be able to ask him any question and get a direct answer. However, in an online course, this is more difficult to accomplish. And you wouldn’t be alone in the online course. If the class is held offline, the maximum number of students is 20, 30, or 40.

As a result, at this degree of strength, you may ask the teacher any question and he will be able to respond without hesitation. However, in an online course of 500 students, the instructor may not be able to communicate with you directly, or you may not pay attention in class.

The most significant benefit of online learning is that you can schedule classes around your schedule. There may be a conflict between your class and your job. You may have to rush to a job or a relative’s house because you don’t have enough time, or you may own a company.

Because of your busy schedule, an online course would benefit you because you can learn whenever and wherever you want. So all media have their advantages and disadvantages. We can’t tell whether online or offline is better.
